Entry requirements

Completion equivalent to Year 10/11 typically allows entry at Certificate III level; Year 12 equivalent allows entry at Certificate IV/Diploma level. A country-by-country qualification equivalency table is published; mature-age applicants may qualify via relevant work experience.

Application deadlines

Two intakes a year: Semester 1 2026 (2 Feb-3 Jul) and Semester 2 2026 (20 Jul-11 Dec); most courses start in Feb or Jul. Offshore applications for Semester 1 2027 close 23 Nov 2026.

English requirements

Standard: IELTS Academic 6.0 overall (no band under 5.0), TOEFL iBT 67, or PTE Academic 50 (no skill under 42). Some courses set higher requirements, e.g. Early Childhood Education IELTS 6.0 (no band under 6.0), Nursing IELTS 7.0 (no band under 7.0, writing min 6.5).
